This is an album artwork from the band Cradle of Filth. It is one of my favourite artworks of all time by far, I love the colours, the mood, the subjects, everything!A feeling of vampire desires is created through the left hand sides subject and her positioning. Her head is tilted and she is exposing a great deal of her neck - more precisely, her jugular. The subject on the right looks to be poised about to take a bite. There is however no huge canines or deranged looks of hunger or terror which one connects with vampires feeding. The is a loving, calm, caressing atmosphere that has been created. Its quite a nice opposite effect with the bloodiness. I also like the attention to detail, the hair on the right subject is stunning while the left subject has what looks like a vail with flowers on her head.
Lastly, the albums name of "the principle of evil made flesh" works well with the idea of vampirism (which is often in peoples head) taking on a very real and solid form
