There is a part of me that hopes this is photoshopped and there is another side that hopes it is not. I have seen this image a good few times and each time I am more in awe of it. I mean, having something like that in your mouth must be a tad uncomfortable and do damage to your teeth like you cant imagine, but what a legend!!!! Not only has this person split there tongue, but they have had it pierced to look like a zipper. I don't want to know or think about how it must have swollen.

I see piercings as jewellery and I believe that both of them have the ability to be art forms. So when I look at this, I do not see an image of an idiot who has gone and stuck a zipper on their tongue as many people would, instead I see a person who is making a statement. whether it be a thought out statement or not, there is still a thought process behind it. Even if it is subconscious...

Me Like

This ring is a Stephen Webster ring. He is a wonderful designer and designs for a lot of celebrities. (I just saw him on project runway now which was unexpected). What I like most about his work is the alternative/macabre twist that there is. He thinks out the box. This is from his thorn collection for males. It simply speaks for itself. I like the idea of a bullet and thorns as apposed to the rose. It also appears quite crystal like which works to its advantage. Its simplicity is great too and while it is small it makes a big statement.

I found this great website today and I saw this image and I had a laugh. There is nothing particularl deep about it or anything, its just a classic image. For those who don't know or have never done it, nearer to christmas (much nearer) take a drive through bothasig and think of this image :)
